Inkomste uit belasting vir die eerste vyf maande van die fiskale jaar is klaar R22 biljoen laer as waarvoor begroot is, wat ’n tekort van R53 biljoen aan die einde van die jaar beteken. In dieselfde tydperk staan oorbesteding op R15,3 biljoen, dus R184 biljoen aan die einde van die fiskale jaar.
