"The ANC government and its socialist partners have no idea how economic growth is created and will finally destroy the economy within the next 3 to 4 years," says Fanie Brink, an independent agricultural economist.

He refers to the article “Gaan dié kabinet ekonomie aan rol kry?” ("Is this cabinet going to get the economy rolling?") that appeared on the website of Netwerk24 this morning and asked the question which "essential interventions, remedies, reforms and growth" are the commentators refer to who normally make such general comments that hang in the air that are meaningless?

Is there no one in the country who understands how economic growth is created that is proven and accepted every day in almost all the countries worldwide?"

No ANC cabinet that implements a policy of destructive socialism is "acceptable”!! The cabinet changes will in no way delay the final countdown to the total devastation of the economy and the country within the next 3 to 4 years.

"Cooperation with the private sector" in partnerships with the government is by no means a solution. There is no reason why the private sector should get involved in the destructive policies of the government just to be destroyed as well.

The government's interference and regulation of the economy must be drastically reduced. The government must create a political and economic environment that will be conducive to the private sector to generate profits, economic growth and greater revenue for the government to tackle the serious social problems in the country.

The only "paradigm shift" the government needs to make is a return to a mixed capitalist/socialist economic system, something the government and his social partners that are supporting it to further destroy the economy, as well as various political and economic commentators, will clearly never understand!!

"There is no other way!"

Economic growth is created from the supply and demand side of the economy which is proven by Statistics SA every quarter that is driven by the profit motive and not by the serious delusion of the Reserve Bank that growth is created by lower interest rates.

"At least the national spokesperson of the trade union Cosatu, Sizwe Pamla, understands that 'the president has recycled the same old guard that has proven that they are not capable of solving our many problems,'" Brink said.
