Australian wine output leaps 9%, outpacing demand

The 2025 national winegrape crush reached 1.57 million tonnes, up 11% (155,000 tonnes) on 2024. Despite the rebound, it remained 8% below the 10-year average of 1.71 million tonnes, Wine Australia’s Wine Production, Sales and Inventory Report 2025 has revealed.
